We had a flatbread pizza for our daughter; Ahi Tuna Tacos for my wife; and, a Blackened Fish Sandwich for me, as well as Chips and Guacamole for all of us to share. It was a Sunday so we decided to visit again for lunch at 1. Now I must commend our waitress. I could not finish ny meal but it was very good, the meal was affordable and we had wonderful service there. Holy hell this place is expensive! You have to love it here.
We were seated and had to wait for a further 10 mins for a server to take our order. Food was good but service is extremely slow! This was my second visit to this Cracker Barrel. We suggest enjoying them with Homestyle Fries and Cole Slaw. The other person wanted biscuits and jelly and apple butter. We have been eating here for years and it never changes. I had to send mine back and we had to wait on our daughters order being re done. Sandbar is a great, casual option for food at the Gaylord Palms, right by the pool. Restaurant was not even particularly busy when we sat down. The food really isn't good. Can't beat the quantity and quality of the food for the price.
I thought never mind we will have our biscuits and corn breads after our meal. So I asked the waitress. The staff is very skilled at avoiding eye contact. It took awhile for our food to come and when it did, she brought out a couple meals at a time. This was probably the highlight of our trip and if you go to this restaurant, make sure to ask for her. She went and asked then came back and said they were out of turkey so they put on extra ham.
I love the biscuits and they make the breakfast. Service was good we were supplied with more drinks before we finished them we had to wait for our main courses for a while but everyone enjoyed their food at the cracker barrel. The homemade meat loaf is the nicest I have tasted. We asked to speak to a manager and all she said was she was sorry for the delay , and walk away. Its located about 5 mins drive east of Kissemmee Old Town on the 192. The Sandbar is a covered-patio bar at the Gaylord Palms pool that has an island theme and relaxed staff. But she was so kind and apologized so many times.
The meat was disgusting, it was all fat that I had to leave it. We sat at 2 different tables close to each other. The restaurant itself is huge with a big log fire in the winter and all kinds of old country artefacts , pictures, tools etc on the walls. But I will tell you my Uncle Hershels was not the same without the biscuits which we use with the gray and also with the eggs. We returned a few days later for another breakfast and our server worked 18 hours the previous day. When paying the cashier I said this was the worst meal in coming in 18 years we have had and explained. There was no long wait, no issues with our meals, just an all around wonderful time! Served with your choice of Buttermilk Biscuits or Corn Muffins and real butter.
We will return a as a first choice next time! Some of our offerings contain meat seasonings and are not vegetarian. Each of our salads include your choice of dressing, unless noted. Which I clearly stated my allergy and food still came out wrong so had to wait longer. Choose spicy grilled or cornmeal breaded and fried. He gave us food recommendations and didn't let us down. Comes with All the Fixin's. In about 45 minutes we got a table for us all together, breakfast was great.
Took about 45mind to get drinks delivered and longer for our food. We had read so many favourable reviews, so we were excited to try it. Served with Fried Apples or Hashbrown Casserole and 100% Pure Natural Syrup. Our experience was total bad since the key reason to go there was the biscuits. By the time the last person got his food the first person was done.
